New England ENT is a well-established, physician-led otolaryngology practice based at Newton Wellesley Hospital (NWH) in Newton, Massachusetts. We provide comprehensive ENT care to patients across the Greater Boston area and are committed to clinical excellence, collaborative teamwork, and the professional growth of every team member.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. ENT experience is preferred but not required — we will invest in training the right candidate. Compensation is commensurate with experience and will reflect your clinical background at the time of hire.
In this role, you will work closely with our attending physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality outpatient ENT care. Over time, as clinical competency develops and shared goals are met, there is a clear path toward greater independence and expanded scope of practice.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
– Conduct comprehensive ENT evaluations including history, physical exam, and diagnostic workup
– Manage outpatient ENT conditions: otitis media, sinusitis, hearing loss, allergic rhinitis, head & neck masses, and more
– Assist with and perform in-office procedures under physician supervision (nasal endoscopy, cerumen removal, laryngoscopy, etc.)
– Support attending physicians in pre- and post-operative care
– Manage patient documentation and care coordination via EMR
– Option to participate in rotating on-call coverage as appropriate
– Contribute to quality improvement and practice development initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
– Current Massachusetts NP or PA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
– Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program; board certification required or in process
– ENT or specialty care experience preferred but not required
– Prior surgical or specialty practice experience is a plus
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative, patient-centered approach
– EMR proficiency required; Epic experience a preferred
– Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations

COMPENSATION
Salary range: $115,000–$160,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, scope of responsibilities, and overall benefits package.
