Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA-C)Texas Dermatology & Facial Plastics | Odessa, TX
Texas Dermatology & Facial Plastics is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant with a strong interest in dermatology to join our rapidly growing practice in Odessa, Texas.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly alongside Dr. Smriti Prasad, a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, with hands-on training in medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic procedures.
We are looking for a PA who is excited to build a long-term career in dermatology, develop procedural skills, and grow with a modern, expanding practice.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients with a full spectrum of dermatologic conditions
- Perform comprehensive skin exams and skin cancer screenings
- Diagnose and treat conditions including:
- Acne
- Rosacea
- Psoriasis
- Eczema
- Skin infections
- Hair and nail disorders
- Perform in-office dermatologic procedures, including:
- Skin biopsies
- Cryotherapy
- Surgical excisions
- Electrodessication and curettage
- Participate in cosmetic dermatology, including:
- Injectables
- Laser treatments
- Other aesthetic procedures
- Build strong relationships with patients while delivering efficient, high-quality dermatologic care
Training & Mentorship
The PA will receive direct mentorship and training from Dr. Smriti Prasad, with opportunities to develop expertise in:
- Dermatologic diagnosis
- Procedural dermatology
- Cosmetic dermatology
This role is ideal for someone eager to build procedural skills and develop into a high-performing dermatology PA.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- PA-C certification
- Eligible for Texas licensure
- Strong interest in dermatology and procedural medicine
- Dermatology experience is a plus but not required

Our goal is to deliver high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care while continuing to expand access to dermatologic services in the region.
Pay: $90,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
