Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as urgent care, primary care and wellness.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory data collection, and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system- eClinical Works.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, Incision and Drainage and other wound evaluations.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR ; ensure coding accuracy with ICD-9/10 and CPT coding standards for billing purposes.
• Support telehealth initiatives by conducting remote patient assessments and health coaching sessions to expand access to care as needed.

Skills

• Extensive experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; proficient in data collection and medical records management.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
• Proven ability to perform physical examinations, suturing, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures with aseptic technique.
• Prior Urgent Care and Primary Care experience.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic tests like radiology reports ; knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate documentation.
• Competence in handling diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and health coaching; understanding of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality at all times. Pay: $70.00 – $85.00 per hour
