Description
American Traveler is seeking a PTA for an outpatient position at a Level 3 Trauma Center in Oklahoma, with Epic experience required and a minimum of two prior travel assignments.
Details
- Outpatient physical therapy position within an acute care hospital setting, a 171-bed Level 3 Trauma Center
- Required to float between outpatient and inpatient departments as needed
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00–16:30 or 9:00–17:30 depending on department need
- One Saturday per month required
- Uses Epic for charting; experience is required
- Free parking is available on-site
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma PTA license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient PTA experience required; 1 year of acute care experience preferred
- Epic experience required, preferably used in the state of Oklahoma and within the last year
- No pending licenses accepted
- Minimum of two successful prior travel assignments required with no performance or attendance issues

- Scrub color varies by unit
- The facility maintains a zero-fault attendance policy — any missed scheduled shift, regardless of reason, is counted as unexcused; two missed shifts result in a warning and three or more may result in contract cancellation
- RTO is capped at 5 days for the duration of the 13-week assignment; no additional RTO requests will be considered after the time of consideration or during the contract
- No RTO will be approved the day before, the day of, or the day after a recognized holiday
- No special or blocked scheduling requests are permitted
- No background hits are allowed
- Candidates must complete all assigned compliance modules before their start date, including reporting to the lab within 48–72 hours of signing
