Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team, providing coverage between our Sacramento and Stockton clinic locations. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
The ideal candidate is clinically confident, patient-focused, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Position Summary
The NP/PA will work closely with supervising physicians to deliver high-quality care for patients with work-related injuries and occupational health conditions. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, managing treatment plans, coordinating interdisciplinary care, maintaining timely and accurate documentation, and supporting positive patient outcomes.
Providers can expect to manage approximately 20-24 patients per day in a supportive, team-oriented setting focused on functional recovery and conservative care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with occupational injuries
- Perform patient consultations and assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and medications
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
- Write orders and accurately document progress notes in patient charts
- Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff regarding patient care
- Provide additional medical services consistent with licensure and scope of practice
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards in an outpatient setting
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted California NP or PA license
- Current DEA registration or eligibility (including furnishing number for NPs, if applicable)
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in occupational medicine is a plus, but not required
Requirements
- Current PA/NP licensure in California
- Current DEA licensure or DEA eligibility or furnishing
Pay: From $68.00 per hour
License/Certification:
