About the Opportunity:
Oak Tree Dermatology is a physician-owned and operated dermatology practice (not backed by private equity) seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing Riverside location.
We are in the early phases of our new Riverside clinic, which means patient volume is still building. This creates an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to receive personalized, hands-on training directly from Dr. David Robles, MD/PhD — a highly awarded dermatologist — while helping us grow the practice from the ground up.
Whether you’re experienced in dermatology or looking to transition into the specialty, you’ll start with a manageable caseload, gain exceptional clinical skills, and build long-term patient relationships in a collaborative, supportive environment. Credentialing and onboarding will be completed prior to your start date.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct full skin exams and evaluate dermatologic conditions
- Diagnose and treat common skin disorders (acne, eczema, rashes, etc.)
- Assist in or perform minor procedures (e.g., biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions)
- Educate patients on treatment plans and skin care routines
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using EMR
- Collaborate closely with Dr. Robles and the clinical staff
Qualifications:
- Active California PA license
- Board Certified (NCCPA)
- Dermatology experience is preferred but not required — comprehensive training provided
- Excellent bedside manner and strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Bilingual English/Spanish — strong preference for fluent speakers who can conduct full patient visits independently.
