Dermatology Opportunity: North Peak Dermatology

North Peak Dermatology in Walnut Creek is seeking a Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our established and growing dermatology practice on a part-time basis (with potential growth to full-time), working 2–3 days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide care in general medical dermatology as well as some cosmetic dermatology
• Perform comprehensive patient screenings, histories, and physical exams
• Diagnose and treat dermatological conditions and perform procedures such as shave biopsies, punch biopsies and injections of intralesional kenalog
• Comfort with prescribing and monitoring medications like biologics and accutane
• Deliver professional injectable treatments such as Botox, and perform a laser procedures
• Assist in all areas of practice operation as requested by practice management
• Maintain excellent patient communication and provide high-quality, compassionate care
• Uphold excellent attention to detail in patient documentation and clinical notes, and provide timely follow-up to ensure continuity and quality of care

Salary Competitive base-salary with production-based bonus incentive

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of dermatology experience required
• Active California medical license
• Extensive knowledge of dermatologic disorders, skin cancer detection, and dermatologic procedures.
• Ability to address patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Regularly attend and participate in training and staff meetings
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a collaborative approach with the care team
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing excellent patient care

Pay: $75,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
