Full Job Description

A respected, community-focused healthcare organization in Hartford County, CT is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner to join a busy outpatient clinic in a highly collaborative, supportive environment. You will work closely with experienced Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and clinical support staff who value teamwork and quality patient care. This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and no on-call responsibilities. A 4×10 schedule may also be available. Providers here truly have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

Title: Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

Location: Hartford County, CT

Salary: $108,000 – $150,000 DOE

Responsibilities for Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner:

  • Perform comprehensive pediatric evaluations and routine physical examinations
  • Obtain and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic findings
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and advanced practice providers in a team-based care model
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Conduct follow-up visits and ongoing patient management
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care
  • Refer patients to pediatric specialists when appropriate
  • Accurately document all clinical encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Requirements for Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner :

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program
  • Active or eligible Connecticut Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active or eligible DEA registration
  • Pediatric clinical experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Pay: $108,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
