Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring full competency in advanced endoscopic and pulmonary procedures, including ERCP, EUS, EBUS, and bronchoscopy.
Details
- Hospital-based Endoscopy unit
- Performs advanced endoscopic procedures including EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) and ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
- Performs pulmonary procedures including bronchoscopy and EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound)
- Bariatric procedures and ION Robot experience preferred
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Shift windows vary based on unit needs: 0600–1430, 0630–1500, 0700–1530, or 0800–1630
- On-call required for after-hours, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
- Active Louisiana RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required (e.g., BLS)
- Must be fully competent and able to function independently in all areas of Endoscopy, including advanced procedures
- Prior Endoscopy RN experience required, including advanced endoscopic and pulmonary procedures
Additional Information
- Candidates must live 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may assign travelers to an Emergency Team, requiring them to remain on-site until an emergency event has passed or to serve as part of the relief team
- Candidates who are not comfortable with potential emergency team assignments should not apply for this role
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
