Job Title: Provider – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We’re growing, and our next stop is Jersey City! Our newest clinic is opening Fall 2026, and we are looking for a team of compassionate, driven Providers (NPs and PAs) who are ready to master the Tolerance Induction Program (TIP).

For years, families have traveled across the country to find us; now, as we continue to grow, we are bringing our life-changing food allergy treatment closer to them. Training & Development:
No prior experience in food allergy care is necessary. To ensure you feel fully supported and equipped to care for our patients, all new hires participate in a structured, immersive initial training program at our Long Beach, CA location. This training is designed to build your clinical confidence and expertise from day one.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re seeking multiple Providers (NPs or PAs) to help launch our new Jersey City clinic. This role focuses on pediatric allergy treatment, requiring someone compassionate, highly skilled, and ready to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient Care
  • Complete all assigned patient visit preparation and clarifications accurately and timely according to the prep schedule
  • Ensure accurate chart preparation and maintain a strong understanding of all appointment types scheduled.
  • Demonstrate accurate preparation of charts
  • Demonstrate and maintain a strong understanding of Challenge Visits
  • Maintain a physical presence in the clinic during clinic hours
  • Be available to serve as back up in emergency situations
  • Manage and stabilize grade 1, 2, 3 reactions
  • Answer, triage and escalate questions, concerns, and reactions
  • Demonstrate strong understanding TIP and provide TIP based education
  • Ensure they are keeping up with up to date TIP information and protocols
On-Call Coverage
  • Provider on call or Call assist/support will rotate into the Command Center
  • Collaborate with Escalation leads/ Logistics MD to ensure necessary follow up
  • Complete escalation case write ups and present during daily Escalation Rounds; complete follow ups/resolution to patient cases presented
  • Answer, triage and escalate questions, concerns, and reactions
  • Complete rotating call requirements (POC: Monday-Friday 7 am- 5pm, Call Assist/Support: 8 am-5pm)
  • All calls require physical presence in the Call Center from 8am to 5pm, excluding weekends
  • Manage and stabilize grade 1, 2, 3 reactions
Excellence
  • Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and collaboration with all patients, visitors, and employees
  • Provide accurate information to patient families with regards to individualized plans and current condition
  • Treat all patients and parents with respect and strive to connect them to resources to resolve their questions
  • Represent the clinic at off-site community events, health fairs, and corporate wellness programs to promote services and build local partnerships.
  • Lead a positive working relationship with staff and patients
  • Quickly adapt and integrate practice changes as needed
  • Function on all platforms and technology systems associated with the job
  • Integrate constructive feedback from leaders and peers
  • Provide clear hand off to colleagues with accurate information on patient status
  • Promptly address performance concerns with Pod Lead and/or Provider manager(s).
  • Foster an environment for learning and continued improvement
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant School
  • Current New Jersey NP and RN or PA License
  • National Provider Identification Number (NPI)
  • PA or NP Certifications, preferred
  • BLS, PALS and ACLS Certification
  • Familiarity with medications and dosages, knowledge on how to draw medications/reconstitution, and IV placement required.
  • Proficiency with office software applications, such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and previous EMR experience
  • Team mentality and positive working attitude
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in travel to affiliate clinics as additional support

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk between multiple office locations that include the use of stairs (elevator is only available in some instances).This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
