About the Practice
Join a rapidly growing outpatient pulmonary practice led by a team of young, accomplished physicians. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients with lung and respiratory conditions. With continued expansion, we are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) nurse practitioner to enhance patient access and provide culturally competent care.

Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in providing comprehensive care for patients with pulmonary diseases. This includes diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of respiratory conditions while working collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team. The role may involve alternating between two office locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with pulmonary conditions (COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, etc.).
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including chest imaging and pulmonary function testing.
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments (inhalers, nebulizers, oxygen therapy).
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other care team members.
  • Provide patient and family education on disease management and self-care strategies.
  • Monitor treatment response and modify care plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts and practice development initiatives.
  • Support office operations, including occasional administrative or coordination tasks.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Nursing from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
  • Active RN and NP license in California.
  • National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
  • Prior experience in pulmonary medicine or related specialties preferred (not required—training available).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Excellent critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities.

Pay: $140,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
