Emergency Medicine Physician (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Garfield ER is hiring ER physicians for day and night shifts.
- Medium-sized ED: 21 rooms + 8–10 hallway beds
- STEMI & Stroke Center with thrombectomy capability
- Active cardiothoracic service (aortic dissections, AAAs)
- 24hr radiology reads (no NightHawk)
- High-acuity setting: ~20% admit rate, ~10% critical care
- Avg. 1.6 patients/hour
Location
- 20-30 min from Los Angeles
- Located in the culturally rich San Gabriel Valley
Shifts: 6a–3p, 10a–6p, 2p–11p (1hr overlap on day shifts)
Compensation:
- RVU-based: ~$240–$265/hr
- Nights average +$20/hr
Details:
- EMR: Thrive (CPSI)
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Malpractice: $1M/$3M with tail coverage
