We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our events, you will play a key role in ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience. This position requires individuals who are passionate about hospitality and customer service, and who thrive in fast-paced environments. Ideal candidates will have experience in event management, guest services, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of events, including arranging seating, decorations, and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during events.
- Manage cash handling duties for ticket sales or concessions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations throughout the event.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth operations during events.
- Engage with guests through public speaking as required, providing information about the event schedule and activities.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
- Support conflict management efforts by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or events management is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; public speaking experience is a plus.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Skills in conflict management to effectively address any issues that may arise during events.
- Experience in theater or resort settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
