Full Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor & Delivery RN to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to patient-centered care.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education Requirements:
- Current RN License
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- NRP certification with in 12 weeks of employment.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification or within 12 months of hiring.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a strong customer service focus.
- Strong assessment, organizational and problem-solving skills as evidenced by the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components required.
- Ability to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, interprofessional care team and patients, and their families.
