Hospital Details
- Medium-sized, full-service community hospital situated in a southern suburban area of Akron, Ohio
- The modern facility is well-equipped with recent renovations, including a newly renovated ED
- Very responsive back-up maintains good rapport with the Emergency Department and represents all specialties; only major trauma and severe pediatric cases are transferred; excellent support when needed is just minutes away at Akron Children’s Hospital
Hospitalist Service
- Daily Encounters: 90
- Four-five Physicians, one APP daily, seven days on/ seven days off; one swing shift APP, seven days on/seven off; one nocturnist per day
- Scheduling 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for day APP & MD; 1:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. for swing APP, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. for nocturnist
