Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, patient-centered, experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive, high-quality clinical care consistent with Sandia Medical Group’s mission of holistic, regenerative wellness. This role includes patient assessments, individualized treatment planning, clinical procedures, patient education, and collaboration with our healthcare team to improve outcomes.

The Nurse Practitioner will uphold the highest standards of care while fostering a positive patient experience in a fast-paced, dynamic clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Conduct thorough patient histories and physical exams.
  • Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and labs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
  • Provide ongoing management and monitoring of patient progress.
  • Administer and oversee IV therapies, hormone optimization protocols, and other regenerative treatments as appropriate.
  • Educate patients on treatment options, lifestyle modifications, risk factors, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with the medical director, clinical staff, and wellness specialists to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Maintain compliance with clinic policies, state licensure rules, and scope-of-practice standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and chart reviews.
  • Uphold HIPAA and patient privacy standards at all times.

Patient Experience & Communication

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and care team members.
  • Deliver a patient experience that reflects the core values of Sandia Serenity—empathy, professionalism, and excellence.
  • Address patient concerns and questions with clinical expertise and humility.
  • Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a clinical leader and role model.
  • Participate in staff training, protocols development, and clinic growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

  • Current and unrestricted NP license in New Mexico.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (preferred in primary care or regenerative/functional medicine).
  • Proficiency in diagnostic interpretation, treatment planning, and patient counseling.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with IV therapy, hormone replacement therapy, regenerative wellness protocols, or functional medicine modalities.
  • Experience in fast-paced clinical settings.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and quality improvement processes.
  • Bilingual ability (e.g., English/Spanish).

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Clinic environment with frequent patient care activities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and interact with patients and staff throughout the day.
  • Occasional lifting of supplies and equipment.

Pay: $125,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
