Join our healthcare team as a Pediatric/Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant interested in Pediatrics , where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. This vital role combines advanced clinical skills with compassionate patient care, providing pediatric primary care services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pediatric patient assessments, physical examinations, and developmental evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with families and healthcare teams, ensuring holistic treatment approaches.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Office Practicum, for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medication administration, and clinical notes.
- Provide health coaching and education to children and their caregivers on disease prevention, medication use, nutrition, and developmental milestones.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner certification with current licensure to practice in relevant jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated experience working with children in outpatient settings.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Office Practicum ; familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology) and ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases).
Pay: $108,329.89 – $130,461.80 per year
