Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant – Certified to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care across various clinical settings, utilizing your extensive medical knowledge and hands-on skills. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history intake to establish accurate diagnoses.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document findings and manage medical records efficiently.
  • Administer injections, including botulinum toxin treatments, and manage acute pain through appropriate medication administration and intervention strategies.
  • Assist in surgical procedures such as suturing, catheterization, spinal taps, and other minor surgical interventions within hospital or outpatient settings.
  • Manage airway and ventilator support for critically ill patients in ICU or Level I/II trauma centers, ensuring optimal respiratory care.
  • Collaborate on clinical research projects or clinical trials to advance evidence-based practices and improve patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate discharge planning, hospice & palliative medicine services, and post-acute care for diverse patient populations including geriatrics, neonatal ventilator management, or home care.

Skills

  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks; strong data collection and management skills.
  • Critical care experience with ventilator management, ICU experience, Level I/II trauma center exposure preferred.
  • Expertise in acute care settings including emergency medicine, urgent care, hospital medicine, and outpatient clinics.
  • Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10) for accurate documentation and billing; familiarity with ICD coding standards essential.
  • Skilled in performing physical examinations, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and patient assessment protocols.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms to deliver remote patient consultations effectively.
  • Ability to perform procedures such as phlebotomy, dermal fillers (nice-to-have), radiation therapy support (nice-to-have), and basic life support certification required.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security at all times.
  • Familiarity with hospital-based systems like DME management, dialysis procedures, infusion therapy (IV infusion), and infection control protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills for health coaching, addiction counseling referrals, discharge instructions, and patient education across diverse populations including senior care or pediatric patients.
