Responsibilities
- Perform non-invasive aesthetic laser procedures with the highest level of professionalism and safety.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, comprehensive medical history reviews, and skin analyses to determine suitable, customized treatment plans.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, pre- and post-treatment care, and potential risks to ensure fully informed decision-making.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation of all procedures, patient records, and treatment plans in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in developing and refining customized treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs while adhering to the highest safety standards.
- Manage and maintain clinical equipment, including aesthetic lasers and medical devices, ensuring proper sterilization and strict aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with team members on patient care strategies, triage urgent clinical concerns, and support ongoing clinical research or training initiatives related to aesthetic laser treatments.
Requirements
- Valid and current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Connecticut.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a medical spa or dermatology.
- Experienced with injecting filler such as Botox, Sculptra, Juvederm and etc.
- Experienced with laser devices such as Thermage FLX, Ultherapy Prime, and Clear and Brilliant devices
- Strong foundational knowledge of facial anatomy, musculature, and skin health relevant to cosmetic aesthetics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with a diverse client base.
