Full Job Description

Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our nationally recognized team in Indianapolis. As a leader in neonatal care, Riley Children’s treats more than 3,500 newborns annually across its Level IV and Level III NICUs. Our multidisciplinary team—comprised of board-certified neonatologists, advanced practice providers, and pediatric subspecialists—delivers comprehensive, lifesaving care that often begins prenatally and continues through the NICU stay and beyond. We work closely with maternal-fetal medicine, pediatric surgical and medical subspecialties, and neurodevelopmental follow-up programs to ensure seamless, family-centered care. We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Level III NICU at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, IN!

Position Details:

  • Full Time, rotating schedule
  • 24-hour shifts
  • 100% inpatient
  • 16 bed Level III NICU
  • Team includes 4 physicians and 10 APPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend deliveries of high-risk neonatal patients
  • Development of plan of care and oversight of critically ill neonates
  • Procedures include: intubation, PICC, UAL/UVL, chest tube placement, lumbar puncture
  • Must be able to practice independently as the only in-house provider at night

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree required
  • NNP or PA-Neonatal certification required
  • NICU and delivery experience required
