Athens Behavioral Medicine is pleased to announce plans to expand our outpatient Psychiatry practice around the Athens area to meet Georgia’s growing mental healthcare needs. We have an immediate need for a capable nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work with our clinical team and the founder of our practice, Dr. Thomas McCormack, who is a Clinical Professor at the UGA/ Augusta University Medical Partnership holding board certifications in Child & Adolescent, General, and Forensic Psychiatry.
The positions are 40 hrs/ week 100% outpatient clinical work with adults and possibly children and adolescents if the candidate has particular interest or experience working with younger patients. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to administer transcranial magnetic stimulation for refractory depression if desired.

Our team utilizes a multidisciplinary bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach, employing physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and psychotherapists to deliver outstanding mental health care. The income opportunity and benefits package for this position are outstanding. $110,000 to $130,000 based on experience.
