In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, focusing on promoting health, preventing illness, and managing acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations. Requirements
- PA-C from accredited program
- >4000 hours of clinical practice
- BLS certified
- Current Utah PA license, current controlled substance license
- Drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews, to determine health status and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing our EMR system, eClinicalWorks, ensuring accurate data collection and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Administer injections, including immunizations, utilizing aseptic techniques while educating patients on procedures and post-care instructions.
- Manage acute pain cases and provide urgent care services, including triage, IV infusion, and basic life support during emergencies.
- Assist with procedures such as suturing, catheterization, as needed.
- Support chronic disease management programs including geriatrics, pediatrics, family planning, addiction counseling, and hospice & palliative medicine by coordinating care plans and conducting follow-up assessments.
Skills
- Extensive experience with our EMR system, eClinicalWorks; proficient in CPT coding and ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology essential for effective patient assessment and diagnosis.
- Skilled in performing physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, medication administration, and injection techniques within aseptic environments.
- Competent in managing infectious diseases care protocols.
- Ability to handle triage effectively in outpatient or urgent care settings; experienced in health coaching and patient education to promote wellness.

Pay: $49,047.13 – $180,000.00 per year
