Position Overview:
Busy medical office focused on preventative care, IV therapy, and high-quality patient management. We are currently addressing a backlog of medical notes and improving documentation workflow.
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to assist primarily with medical documentation and chart completion. This role focuses on accurate, efficient note completion in ECW (eClinicalWorks) and ensuring documentation is billable and compliant.
Responsibilities:
- Complete and finalize patient notes accurately and efficiently
- Review and update charts, labs, and treatment plans
- Ensure proper ICD-10 and CPT coding linkage
- Maintain audit-ready documentation
- Support provider workflow by reducing backlog
Requirements:
- Active Florida PA license
- Strong experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks) – REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of medical documentation and coding
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals
Compensation Structure:
- Trial Period (First Week): $60/hour
- Per note after trial
Productivity Expectations:
- 4–6 notes per hour
- 25–40 notes per day
Quality Standards:
- Clear Chief Complaint
- Accurate HPI
- Proper ICD-10 linkage
- Correct CPT selection
- Complete treatment plan
- IV notes must include medical necessity, fluids, time/rate, and symptoms
- Notes must be complete and billable to be compensated
