SR Sales Company, Inc. is a 60+ year old leader in providing inventory management solutions for slow moving, obsolete and excess industrial spare parts and has relationships with over 100 market-leading OEMs in industries such as construction, mining, machine tools, trucking, auto, printing, agriculture, recreational sports, power generation, and specific manufacturing niches. SRS has an extensive inventory of original OEM parts and we provide a unique business value proposition and a desirable work culture.

The Customer Service Professional (CSP) reports to the CFO / CEO. He/she is responsible for processing orders, answering phone calls, and acting as the front-line communicator for the Company. This position is best suited for an independent, self-starter who is aggressive and enjoys developing relationships with a diverse group of customers. Industrial parts expertise is not required but some familiarity would be a plus.

This is an hourly position and includes healthcare, dental, vision, and other benefits including 401-K match and profit sharing as well as ancillary insurance offerings such as life and disability. The CSP will have increasing responsibilities once he/she becomes proficient at core duties and could possibly build a customer service team if successful at scaling his/her efforts.

Responsibilities

CSP’s primary responsibility is to consummate sales of new industrial parts from different OEMs utilizing several different methods including but not be limited to the following:

  • Taking inbound calls from major OEMs to take orders and assist with questions about inventory
  • Taking inbound calls from customers teaching them how to place and track orders on our various websites
  • Processing all aspects of parts sales via EDI and those that do not originate from the website
  • Tracking quotes and orders and giving our customers exemplary customer service experience
  • Suggest quality and business improvements based on insights gathered from phone calls and email communication with our customers
  • If requested, assist the CFO in posting and updating inventory in a timely manner.

Requirements, Skills and Abilities

· Work experience in the field of customer service or in a call center is desirable

· Experience with industrial parts/warehouse distribution/supply chain is desirable but not necessary

· Self-starter who can independently work and multi-task is essential

· Familiar with Microsoft office products including basic Excel skills

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

· The ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks

· Attention to detail is critical; and you must become proficient in our system (Acumatica)

· A positive attitude from someone who loves to go the extra mile for the customer

· No two days are the same; we demand enthusiasm and teamwork.

Pay: $23.50 – $26.50 per hour
