We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide advanced clinical care, perform comprehensive patient assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans across a variety of medical settings. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes, support ongoing medical research initiatives, and enhance the overall quality of care delivered. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse populations, including pediatric, adult, geriatric, and specialized patient groups, utilizing your broad skill set in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and seniors.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions utilizing evidence-based practices in internal medicine, emergency medicine, geriatrics, and behavioral health.
  • Administer medications and injections such as IV infusions, botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, and other esthetic laser procedures while adhering to sterile techniques.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, sonography, spinal taps, catheterizations, and medical imaging reviews.
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists in hospital medicine, ICU settings, trauma centers (Level I & II), and post-acute care environments to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records management.
  • Provide telehealth consultations to extend access to care remotely while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and working within Workers’ Compensation law to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Skills

  • Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth for efficient documentation.
  • Proficiency in performing suturing, phlebotomy, catheter care, tube feeding management, and basic life support procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Skilled in managing complex cases involving infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, pain management, and behavioral health issues.
  • Experience working across multiple settings including hospitals (Level I & II trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, and home care environments.
  • Familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 coding systems for accurate billing and documentation purposes.
  • Ability to perform advanced procedures such as cardiac catheterization preparation or ophthalmology assessments when needed.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards along with infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. Pay: $65.00 – $75.00 per hour
