Join a Team That’s Redefining Patient-Centered Care

At Summit Interventional Radiology, growth isn’t just about expanding services—it’s about elevating the way we care for patients. We’re seeking a motivated, compassionate Physician Assistant who’s ready to grow with us and be part of something meaningful.

This isn’t your typical IR role. We blend advanced interventional procedures with a whole-person approach, helping patients achieve not only better clinical outcomes, but a better quality of life.

Whether you bring experience in interventional radiology or a strong desire to learn, we’re committed to training the right candidate—someone who brings curiosity, energy, and a true team-first mindset.

Why Join Summit Interventional Radiology?

  • Work side-by-side with Dr. Preston Smith and a highly collaborative clinical team
  • Enjoy a 4–5 day work week with a consistent, structured schedule
  • Receive hands-on mentorship with meaningful procedural exposure
  • Competitive salary with bonus potential
  • Comprehensive benefits package designed to support you inside and outside of work

Growth & Advancement Opportunities

We believe in investing in our providers and creating clear pathways for professional growth:

  • Additional financial incentives available for training in and performing PA-approved procedures
  • Structured, hands-on training to expand your procedural skillset
  • Opportunity to grow into a more procedure-focused role over time
  • Ongoing mentorship and clinical development alongside experienced physicians
  • Exposure to a wide range of interventional and longitudinal patient care experiences

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret imaging and labs (X-ray, ultrasound, etc.)
  • Assist with interventional procedures
  • Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and specialists to ensure seamless continuity of care

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • ACLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Willingness to travel across multiple clinic locations in the Austin area
  • Strong clinical judgment, procedural aptitude, and excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable regulations
  • Ability to learn and effectively use EMR systems and other software
  • Confidence in prescribing medications and educating patients on proper use

Preferred:

  • 1+ year of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, or ambulatory settings

  • Patient-first in everything you do
  • A collaborative, team-oriented professional
  • Adaptable, curious, and eager to grow
  • Interested in both procedural work and long-term patient care
  • Comfortable working across multiple clinic locations within a structured schedule

If you’re looking for a role where you can expand your clinical skills, increase your earning potential, build meaningful patient relationships, and be part of a forward-thinking team—we’d love to connect with you.
