About the Role
Join a physician-owned internal medicine practice as we expand into a new, larger office space. This is an outpatient-focused role providing comprehensive adult primary care in an efficient, team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, etc.)
- Provide preventive care, annual wellness visits, and acute care
- Perform well-woman exams including Pap smears
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modification
- Document accurately and efficiently in the EHR (eClinicalWorks experience preferred)
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize patient care
Schedule & Workflow
- Typical volume: 14–18 patients per day
- Outpatient only – no call, no weekends
- Dedicated support staff and streamlined clinic workflow
- Opportunity to manage your own patient panel independently
Requirements
- Active NP or PA license in Tennessee
- Master’s degree (NP or PA)
- 2–3+ years of experience in internal medicine, primary care, or family medicine
- Ability to work independently and manage a patient panel
- Experience performing pelvic exams and Pap smears
- Strong clinical judgment and efficient documentation skills
This position is not suited for new graduates or providers requiring extensive supervision.
