Full Job Description
Family owned private Optometry practice seeking a part-time OD to add to our team. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our practice. In this role, you will provide comprehensive eye care services, ocular health evaluations, and patient education. We work closely with Ophthalmologists in the area to co-manage cataract and LASIK surgery cases, as well.
We are looking for a part-time optometrist, anywhere from 16-24 hours a week. We are flexible regarding the schedule and open to half days as well.
Duties
1. Comprehensive eye examinations–we see a lot of patients for their annual exam
2. Accurate refractions
3. Prescribe and fit contact lenses
4. Review testing, diagnosis and treatment plans with patients
5. Co-manage cataract and LASIK procedures
6. Conduct medical eye exams for injuries, glaucoma, diabetes, etc
We are looking for a doctor with excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service and clear communication.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice in the state of California at the time of hire.
Pay will be determined upon experience.
Pay: From $500.00 per day
License/Certification:
- Optometry License (Preferred)
