Join Colorado Hospitalists, a premier physician-led group, at our Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) in Denver. We are seeking dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who thrive on clinical complexity and value a true work-life balance.
This role offers the rare chance to manage high-acuity internal medicine patients while enjoying 20 days off every month.

Candidate Requirements
- Licensure: Active Colorado NP or PA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience: Prior experience in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, or Hospitalist settings is preferred due to patient complexity
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Rounding: Lead daily rounds for a diverse panel of complicated internal medicine patients in an LTACH setting.
- Complex Management: Navigate challenging comorbidities, including respiratory failure, trauma, complex neurologic injury, complex wound care, and multi-system organ failure recovery.
- Call Coverage: Provide at-home night call during your 5-day scheduled block to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with our integrated team of Hospitalists, NPs, and PAs to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $140,000.00 – $155,000.00 per year
License/Certification:
- Certified Physician Assistant with license (Preferred)
- Nurse Practitioner license (Preferred)
