Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and reliable team member to sell mattresses and box springs, available individually or as complete sets. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to promote our products with confidence.
Applicants should be neat, presentable, and dependable, with a strong commitment to being on time and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and refunds while maintaining accuracy in retail math calculations.
- Organize merchandise to ensure an attractive shopping environment; manage inventory levels through stocking and merchandising.
- Handle customer inquiries both in-store and via e-commerce platforms, offering solutions that meet their needs while promoting additional products or services.
- Maintain excellent communication skills to effectively relay product features and benefits; support team members in achieving sales goals through collaborative efforts.
- Support store operations by performing cashiering duties, organizing stockroom supplies, and ensuring the store adheres to safety and cleanliness standards.
Skills
- Experience with retail sales techniques, POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and retail math for accurate transactions.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated organizational skills for stocking , merchandising displays, and managing inventory efficiently.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle inquiries professionally.
Pay: $14.00 – $30.00 per hour
