About us
Dr. Steven Daniel and Dr. Joanne Gaydos-Daniel are leading periodontists in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee area. As periodontists, they are specially trained to identify and treat periodontal disease and the symptoms associated with it such as bleeding gums, bad breath, and loose teeth. Drs. Daniel and Gaydos-Daniel offer a variety of advanced periodontal procedures and technology such as the LANAP Laser Treatment, dental implants, cosmetic periodontal surgery, gum grafting, All-on-4 implants, and bone grafting.
DUTIES
- Assist dentist(s) during dental procedures, including dental implants, bone grafts, gum tissue grafts, periodontal surgery, laser gum surgery, ridge augmentation, implant-supported dentures, etc.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays; experience with CT scans a plus.
- Perform dental charting and record patient information
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
EXPERIENCE
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant
- Proficiency in HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information
- Experience with dental software systems, including DSN, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft.
- Familiarity with surgical assistant procedures and techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
