OverviewJoin our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Front Office Assistant and become the welcoming face of our clinic! This energetic role is vital in creating a positive patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors. You will manage appointment scheduling, insurance verification, patient check-in and check-out, and handle a variety of administrative tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in dental office procedures will ensure smooth daily operations while supporting our commitment to exceptional patient care. Duties

  • Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check-out processes
  • Schedule appointments efficiently using Eaglesoft – dental practice management software.
  • Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing using systems like Eaglesoft, Trojan, and various insurance portals.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and assist patients with inquiries
  • Maintain accurate dental records, update patient information, and review documentation for completeness
  • Assist with insurance verification, and processing payments in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Support clinical staff by coordinating patient flow, preparing paperwork, and managing office supplies

Experience

  • Prior experience in a dental or medical office environment is highly preferred, especially in front desk or administrative roles
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, and health information management systems
  • Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with dental billing processes
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and typing speed (10-key typing)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive patient information securely following HIPAA guidelines
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
