Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home HealthPay Rate: $55–$60 per visit
Job Description:We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality home health services to patients. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve their therapy goals in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments according to the plan of care established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance activities, and functional movement
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
- Follow all regulatory and company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Home health experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage schedule efficiently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
