Position: Registered Nurse – Chronic DialysisLocation: Bremerton, WA 98310
Contract Duration: 13-weekShift: 10-13 hour shifts AM & PM36 hours / week
Pay Rate:$2416 weekly ($32.5/hr w2 + $1246/week stipend)

Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will oversee the delivery of dialysis and the care of patients at the facility. The RN will be responsible for providing education to patients, supervising Dialysis Technicians, adjusting treatment plans per standing orders, care plans, monitoring the patient’s outcomes, administer medications, participating in quality improvement projects, and collaborating with other members of the patient’s care team (social worker, dietitians, and nephrologist). This is a chronic, in-center position that would cover our peninsula locations, working any day Monday – Saturday.
Responsibilities:
- Checking and recording patients’ vitals before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
- Ensuring that hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments are administered to patients correctly.
- Monitoring patients during dialysis treatment to identify any adverse reactions.
- Preparing and updating nursing care plans.
- Promptly notifying the appropriate medical practitioner of any problems that occur during dialysis treatments.
- Working with the dialysis technicians to ensure that dialysis machines and equipment are set up correctly.
RN01
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
- Previous Dialysis experience, required.
- Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing preferred.
- Compact or WA State RN License
- BLS Certification by AHA
Location & Hours Requirements:
- Must be able to work at any Facility’s clinic located on the peninsula (Poulsbo, Bremerton, Port Orchard, Port Townsend).
- Must be able to work any shift (AM/PM) schedule depending upon staffing needs.
