Duties

• Greet patients warmly and assist with their check-in process, ensuring accurate intake documentation
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for chiropractic procedures, maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Support chiropractor during patient examinations and therapies by handing tools and managing supplies
• Educate patients on post-treatment care, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery outcomes
• Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations
• Assist with scheduling appointments, follow-up calls, and managing patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of outpatient, inpatient, or post-acute care services

Requirements

• Prior experience in a clinical setting such as hospital, outpatient clinic, or rehabilitation center is preferred
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and orthopedics to support patient care activities
• Demonstrated patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics and those requiring sub-acute or acute care
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and inpatient/outpatient workflows is advantageous
• Experience with intake procedures, medical documentation, and understanding of post-acute care processes
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
• Relevant certifications or training related to healthcare assistance are a plus but not mandatory
• Must enjoy dogs, babies and the general public
