Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety.
- Perform chairside assisting tasks, including preparing instruments and materials for procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient management and scheduling.
- Conduct vital signs checks and assist in medical imaging as needed.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical setting.
- Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene practices, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations, including managing supplies and equipment.
Qualifications :
Valid RDA license (Required)
✅ 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
✅ Leadership qualities — dependable, assertive, organized✅ Strong communication skills and team-first mindset✅ Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix is a plus!)✅ Interest in airway/sleep dentistry is a bonus!
