Full Job Description
“`Duties“`- Assist dermatologist in providing patient care and treatment- Assist with dermatological procedures, such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy- Perform wound care and suture removal under the supervision of a dermatologist- Administer medications as directed by the dermatologist- Educate patients on proper skincare routines and provide post-treatment instructions- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems- Laser treatments and other cosmetic procedures
“`Qualifications“`- PA-C or APRN- Previous experience working in a dermatology clinic or similar healthcare setting is required- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology- Familiarity with medical coding and insurance billing processes- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Ability to assist with minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care, under the supervision of a dermatologist
