Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health education. Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history intake, and physiological evaluations.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions through diagnostic evaluation, medication administration, and treatment planning.
  • Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, , and basic wound care using aseptic techniques.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical records, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, and data management.
  • Coordinate care with specialists in areas such as infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, ICU and neonatal ventilator management, and emergency medicine to ensure comprehensive patient support.
  • Participate in clinical research or clinical trials to advance evidence-based practices and improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide triage services in outpatient or urgent care settings to prioritize patient needs effectively while managing acute pain and airway issues.

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with current certification to practice in the Texas.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks
  • Skilled in performing procedures like suturing, I&D,PAP smear
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle diverse clinical scenarios involving urgent care, geriatrics, pediatrics,
  • Excellent patient care skills with a focus on physical examinations, intake assessments, vital signs monitoring and data collection for quality improvement initiatives.
