Responsibilities:
- Takes and records vital signs and weight
- Answers patient call lights promptly
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to create customized care plans for patients
- Performs all duties in a professional and timely manner
- Follow facility policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Assisting with patient transportation within the facility
- Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting
- Assisting healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures
- Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
- Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
- Related duties as assigned
Additional Information:
Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent Required
- 1 year of related experience Required
- Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Alabama Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hired Required
- Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
