Overview
Join our healthcare team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant), where your role will directly support patient care across both outpatient clinic and hospital settings. We are hiring for several positions with opportunities in inpatient care, outpatient clinic services, or a combination of both.
In this role, you will work closely with physicians to evaluate patients, coordinate care, and support continuity from hospital to outpatient follow-up.
The position is structured to provide a consistent and organized workflow, with a focus on patient care, clear communication, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
1. Outpatient Clinic
- Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Review labs, imaging, and pathology results
- Provide patient education and discuss care plans and follow-up
- Coordinate diagnostic testing, procedures, and referrals
- Document encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
2. Inpatient / Hospital Services
- Perform inpatient consultations for gastrointestinal conditions
- Conduct daily follow-up evaluations and assist with patient management
- Coordinate care with hospital teams, including hospitalists and specialists
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
- Review labs, imaging, and clinical status to support decision-making
- Communicate plans clearly with patients, families, and care teams
3. Care Coordination
- Ensure continuity of care between hospital and outpatient settings
- Arrange follow-up appointments and necessary testing
- Communicate results and updates to patients in a timely manner
- Work with staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and care delivery
Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge in gastroenterology and general medicine
- Ability to perform thorough patient evaluations and develop care plans
- Proficiency in EHR documentation
- Clear and professional communication with patients and healthcare teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work within structured workflows
- Team-oriented approach
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license (Arizona or eligible)
- Board certification required
- Experience in gastroenterology preferred, but not required
- Experience in hospital-based care is a plus

Pay: $135,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
