Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Hiring for Wednesdays and/or Fridays.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take dental X-rays while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed, including scheduling and confirming patient visits.
- Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary to ensure their well-being during procedures.
- Utilize dental software.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
