About the RoleLa Tanya Wallace, NP & Associates is a trauma-informed psychiatric and integrative care practice serving adults in San Diego and via telehealth. We are seeking a compassionate, grounded Registered Nurse to support clinic-based care, selected home visits, and growing functional medicine and behavioral health services.
This role includes nursing support for psychiatric and integrative visits, focused home visits for frail or emotionally sensitive clients, limited workflow and coordination support, and future assistance with functional medicine, perimenopause education, group support, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy intensives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in-office psychiatric, behavioral health, and functional medicine visits within RN scope
- Obtain vitals, update histories and medications, complete nursing intake, and document clearly in the EHR
- Conduct selected nursing home visits in the San Diego area for frail, medically vulnerable, or emotionally sensitive clients
- Communicate clinically relevant findings to the NP to support continuity of care
- Assist with patient flow, chart prep, record organization, and limited workflow support as needed
- Provide client education related to functional medicine, hormone and perimenopause care, and treatment follow-through within RN scope
- Support future educational groups and KAP/intensive services as needed
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered California RN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, outpatient care, home health, women’s health, or integrative/functional medicine
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Calm, professional, trauma-informed presence
- Reliable transportation for local home visits in San Diego County
- EHR/computer proficiency
Preferred
- Experience in behavioral health, home health, functional medicine, women’s health, or perimenopause support
- Experience with patient education, care coordination, or small-group support
- Familiarity with KAP or willingness to be trained
- BLS certification
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

Pay: $37.06 – $44.64 per hour
