Company OverviewC Dermatology is a solo practice specializing in general dermatology and skin cancer treatment serving Coloradans for over 20 years. Our focus is on providing personalized, high-quality skin care services to our patients in a compassionate and professional environment.

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant looking to work part time 1-2 days a week for a non-corporate, solo dermatology practice established for over 20 years. Great position for someone already working in another part time medical job, but looking to add 1-2 days and learn/transition into dermatology. Flexible schedule. No call. Please DO NOT APPLY if you do not already have a Colorado license or if you do not have previous experience in dermatology or another field of medicine for over a year. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and a desire to learn all aspects of dermatology (general, surgical, aesthetics). This role involves working in a clinical setting where you will engage with patients of all ages, including geriatrics. Hourly salary negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking and physical examinations focused on dermatological conditions.
  • Assist in performing dermatologic procedures such as dermal fillers, botox and esthetic laser treatments.
  • Manage patient care plans, including diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and follow-up care.
  • Educate patients on skin health, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Support clinical research initiatives related to dermatology and skin treatments, including data collection and analysis.

Experience

  • Prior experience working in outpatient dermatology clinics or medical offices with proficiency in medical terminology and medical records management.
  • Demonstrated experience in injection administration, suturing, and performing dermatologic procedures.
  • Background in skin cancer screening, phototherapy, or aesthetic treatments such is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of patient assessment techniques, anatomy knowledge related to skin layers, and infection control practices.
