Job Summary
Boston Medical Center is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its Occupational Medicine and Employee Health program. This role focuses on adult employee health, preventive care, and clinical evaluations in a structured, outpatient setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for NPs with adult primary care, urgent care, or occupational health experience who are looking for work-life balance, stable hours, and competitive compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical care, evaluation, and follow-up for employee health services
- Perform physical exams, preventive care, and health assessments
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and labs
- Develop and implement treatment plans and follow-up care
- Provide patient education focused on health maintenance and prevention
- Document care accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Massachusetts RN and NP license
- ANCC (or equivalent) NP certification
- DEA registration
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience and 2 years adult practice experience
- Prior Occupational Health experience preferred (not required)
