Chicago Cosmetic Surgery & Dermatology is seeking an accomplished Physician Assistant to join our prestigious, physician-led dermatology and aesthetic medicine practice. This role is ideal for a motivated PA who is passionate about advanced skin health, regenerative aesthetics, and non-injectable cosmetic treatments, and who is seeking long-term professional growth in a high-caliber clinical environment.

This position does not include neuromodulators or dermal fillers.

The Role

You will deliver exceptional patient care across medical dermatology and sophisticated aesthetic services, working in close collaboration with board-certified physicians. The position offers the opportunity to refine advanced procedural skills, participate in innovative treatment offerings, and contribute to an elevated patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical dermatology evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Perform advanced aesthetic and regenerative procedures, including:
  • Microneedling
  • PRP and exosome therapies
  • Laser and energy-based device treatments
  • Sclerotherapy
  • Evaluate and manage hair loss conditions with medical and procedural approached
  • Deliver physician-directed medical weight loss care utilizing GLP-1 agonists
  • Maintain meticulous EMR documentation and uphold the highest clinical standards
  • Partner closely with supervising physicians within an Illinois-compliant collaborative agreement

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Active Illinois PA license and current PA-C certification
  • Dermatology experience strongly preferred; aesthetic and procedural expertise highly valued
  • Demonstrated excellence in patient communication, clinical judgment, and professionalism
  • Commitment to continuous learning and clinical mastery

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions

  • Work is performed during regular work hours, but may require overtime and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines.
  • Work in varying degrees of temperature (heated or air conditioned).
  • Position requires sitting for 4-6 hours per day and walking for 2+ hours per day.
  • Position requires light to moderate work with 50 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry.
  • Position requires reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing.
  • Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with a Medical Administrative Assistants such as manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands or deliveries, or sitting for extended periods of time. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.
