Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

About Doctors Place
Doctors Place is a growing urgent care and occupational medicine practice expanding its telehealth and medical weight loss services. Approximately 75% of visits are virtual, allowing for efficient, streamlined patient care.
We are seeking a confident, efficient NP or PA who is comfortable managing virtual urgent care and weight loss visits in a flexible, productivity-based model.
Position Overview
Services include:
- Virtual urgent care visits (UTI, URI, minor complaints, medication management)
- Medical weight loss consultations and follow-ups
- Limited in-person urgent care visits
- DOT physicals (preferred but not required)
This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys autonomy and telemedicine-based care with high flexibility.
Compensation
- $20 per virtual visit
- $25 per in-person visit
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Income directly tied to productivity
Most shifts range from 4–6 hours, with typical volumes of 8–15 patients depending on shift length and clinic growth.
Schedule
- Flexible 4–6 hour shift blocks
- Opportunity for multiple shifts per week
- Primarily telehealth with optional in-clinic sessions
- Consistent scheduling available
Ideal Candidate
- Active NJ NP or PA license
- DEA license
- Comfortable seeing 2–3 patients per hour
- Confident in low-to-moderate acuity urgent care
- Experience or interest in weight loss management preferred
- DOT physical certified
- Growth-oriented and reliable

- Medical weight loss consultations and follow-ups
- Limited in-person urgent care visits
- DOT physicals (preferred but not required)
