Queen City Gastroenterology & Hepatology is searching for a Certified NP or PA for Gastroenterology & Hepatology. The NP or PA will provide specialty care with the physician for GI, Liver, and Weight Loss Patients. We are an independent, physician led practice delivering leading edge technology and treatment options. We have a AAAHC accredited endoscopy center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for individual patients.
- Initiates and documents appropriate interventions; evaluates and records patient response within practice protocol: prescribes drug therapies per protocol/physician consultation.
- Assists physicians and performs procedures as needed; conducts patient assessments and provides physician with information prior to seeing the patient.
- Has experience with IV sets, Infusions, and other miscellaneous nursing tasks and can provide clinical lead and support to medical assistants.
- Provides education and assesses patient needs.
- Promotes/provides staff education.
- Knowledgeable of reimbursement procedures of documentation requirements.
- Serves as a resource person for the nursing staff.
- Versatility, High energy and Eagerness to learn and be part of a team delivering quality patient care.
- Secondary language a plus (Vietnamese, Spanish, or other)
Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
