Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Mobile Wound Care

PNW Wound Specialist LLC | Spokane & Surrounding Areas

PNW Wound Specialist is a mobile wound-care practice providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients in homes, skilled-nursing facilities, and assisted-living settings.

We are seeking a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) who enjoys wound care, values thoughtful clinical decision-making, and is comfortable working in a structured mobile practice.

About the Role

This is a part-time, flexible 1099 position.

The PA-C serves as the primary provider responsible for:

  • Wound evaluations and reassessments
  • Treatment planning and progression of care
  • Escalation decisions
  • Performing advanced wound therapies when appropriate

Registered Nurses support conservative and compression care under provider-established plans.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive wound evaluations and follow-ups
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
  • Perform procedures including:
  • Debridement
  • Compression therapy oversight
  • Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT)
  • Advanced wound therapies and grafting
  • Document care in Intellicure EMR
  • Collaborate with supervising physician as needed

Teaching & Preceptor Opportunities (Optional)

For providers who enjoy teaching and mentorship, there may be opportunities to:

  • Serve as a clinical preceptor
  • Support PA or healthcare trainees interested in wound care
  • Contribute to education and skill development within a growing specialty

Preceptor participation is optional and based on interest and availability.

Compensation (Per Wound)

Initial Evaluation / Intake: $175

Provider Follow-Up / Reassessment: $175

Advanced Therapy – Standard: $200

Advanced Therapy – Complex / High-Risk: $275

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Washington State PA license
  • NCCPA certification
  • Strong clinical and documentation skills
  • Reliable transportation for mobile visits

Preferred

  • Experience in wound care, home health, SNF, or mobile practice settings
  • Interest in teaching or mentorship (optional)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $87.00 – $137.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week
