The Dermatology, Laser & Vein Center is a physician-led aesthetic practice specializing in advanced cosmetic and non-surgical skin rejuvenation. Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing cosmetic and aesthetics team. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys hands-on procedures, patient education, and delivering aesthetic outcomes that build confidence and satisfaction.
Prior aesthetic experience is welcome but not required for the right candidate with a passion for cosmetic medicine and a willingness to train.
Key Responsibilities
Aesthetic Clinical Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive cosmetic consultations and aesthetic assessments
- Develop customized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and expectations
- Administer aesthetic treatments including (with training as needed):
- Neuromodulator injections (Botox®, Xeomin®, Dysport®, etc.)
- Dermal fillers and biostimulatory injectables
- Laser and light-based skin rejuvenation treatments
- Microneedling and resurfacing procedures
- Chemical peels and advanced skincare treatments
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, skincare regimens, and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation within the EMR for all aesthetic visits
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, sterilization, and infection control standards
- Support patient retention through excellent bedside manner and follow-up care
Clinical Support & Operations:
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and aesthetic equipment
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of aesthetic devices
- Assist other providers with cosmetic procedures as needed
- Collaborate with front office, patient coordinators, and leadership to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Participate in internal training, continuing education, and skill development initiatives
QualificationsRequired:
- Active Ohio licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or related clinical setting)
- Strong assessment skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and patient communication abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment
- Comfort using EMR systems and standard clinical software
Preferred:
- Experience in cosmetic dermatology, aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery, or med spa setting
- Prior experience with injectables, lasers, or energy-based aesthetic devices
- Familiarity with modern EMR/EHR platforms
- Strong interest in long-term growth within aesthetic medicine
- Aesthetic eye and commitment to natural, results-driven outcomes
Work Environment:
- Outpatient cosmetic dermatology and aesthetics practice
- Procedure-focused, fast-paced clinical setting
- Standing for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
