Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team at Sunrise Pediatrics. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality care to children and adolescents, ensuring their health and well-being through comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans. This role requires a strong background in pediatrics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Administer medications, including injections and other treatments as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in EHR in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide triage services for patients presenting with various conditions.
Qualifications
- Physician Assistant: Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification.
- Nurse Practitioner: NP certification, and a valid state license.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience working in pediatrics or family practice outpatient settings.
Base Pay: $75.00 – $85.00 per hour
